Inti Raymi 2026: Sun Festival in Cusco

Inti Raymi, or the Sun Festival, was held on June 24, 2026 in Cusco, Peru, celebrating the Andean winter solstice. The ceremony takes place at three sites: Qorikancha, Plaza de Armas, and Sacsayhuamán, attracting more than 100,000 spectators. The event is connected to the sacred portal of Machu Picchu and has been a Cultural Heritage of the Nation since 2001.
