About this portal
South of Japan, in a stretch of the Pacific between volcanic islands, ancient sailors spoke of the Dragon Triangle — the Devil’s Sea — where compasses went mad and vessels were lost. It is the eastern counterpart to the Bermuda Triangle and one of Sanderson’s twelve Dragon Gates, anchored in the geometry of Earth’s icosahedron. Beneath its waters, submarine volcanoes are born and die. It is a portal of oceanic mystery: the point where the planet’s grid plunges into the abyss and the sleeping dragon breathes beneath the sea.
