Acoustic Phenomenon in Serra do Roncador: the rumble of the sacred stones

In Serra do Roncador, in Mato Grosso, the wind that passes through the rock formations produces steady low sounds, resembling a rumble. The Xavante people consider the place sacred, associating it with a passage between worlds. Visitors mention feelings of disorientation in the caves; however, the acoustic phenomenon, though recognized, still lacks systematic measurements.

Colonel Fawcett and the lost city "Z"

In 1925 the British explorer Percy Fawcett ventured into Mato Grosso in search of a lost city he called "Z," guided by the enigmatic Manuscript 512. He, his son Jack, and a friend disappeared without a trace, and dozens of later searches failed. Serra do Roncador became a magnet for legends of subterranean cities and esoteric theories. The disappearance is a historical fact; the underground cities are a living myth. Years later, LiDAR revealed that the Amazon truly hosted great ancient urban networks.
