About this portal

On the shores of the Guarapiranga Reservoir, in the far south of São Paulo, lies the first Sacred Ground built outside Japan — and the only one in the Western world. Conceived by Mokiti Okada (Meishu-Sama), founder of the Church of World Messianity, it was envisioned as a 'Prototype of the Earthly Paradise': a living model of the ideal world where Truth, Goodness and Beauty meet. Across 327,500 m² of preserved Atlantic Forest — today a Private Natural Heritage Reserve — flowering gardens, waterfalls and silent paths lead to the temple, crowned by a 71-metre tower and a ring supported by sixteen pillars. Open to all, it is a ground of prayer, gratitude and purification, where many renew their faith before the Altar of the Divine.
